Position Description
Chartis Private Client Group provides innovative insurance products and risk management services designed to enhance protection and minimize threats to the personal wealth of high net worth individuals.

Through our relationships with other Chartis companies, we also offer products for more specific needs: private aviation insurance; workers' compensation for domestic staff; insurance programs for family offices; and kidnap/ransom and extortion insurance. Complementing our products is an array of risk management services including homeowners, excess liability, private collections, automobile, yacht and excess flood.

Chartis has an opportunity for a VP of Strategic Marketing in its Private Client Group.

Position Description

Chartis PCG is seeking a Strategic Marketing Programs Manager who will be a member of a team responsible for the development and execution of Private Client Group's strategic marketing programs.

Developing strategic marketing programs will be accomplished by working with the functional divisions throughout Private Client Group, various distribution channels and external business partners.

The Strategic Marketing Programs Manager will be directly responsible for assisting with the creation, implementation and management of programs.

Functional Responsibility
. 60% Program implementation: working closely with all impacted functional divisions determining and executing the details necessary to manage profitable strategic programs
. 25% New program development: identifying and determining the strength of new opportunities, creating and presenting proposals to win new program partnerships
. 15% Maintenance of current programs: continuous audit, course correction and implementation of pro-active plans to ensure meeting program profitability and growth goals
Position Requirements
Experience --
. 3+ years of High Net Worth Personal Insurance experience
. Demonstrated success in program or project management
. Firm understanding of PCG functional divisions, systems and processes
. Underwriting background with a strong aptitude in sales and marketing
. Development and introduction of standard operating procedures
. Familiar with business plans and cost-benefit analysis
. Direct experience with PCG operating systems ie: ePCG, billing, intranet and work-flows


Knowledge and Skills
. Solid understanding of PCG products, services and advantages
. Detailed knowledge of underwriting and service best practices
. Well rounded individual with a strong overall aptitude in operations, underwriting, marketing and communications
. Results oriented with the ability to work with and understand financial measures
. Strong written and oral communication skills
. Great attention to detail, creative with solid problem solving abilities
. Effective at multi-tasking and time management
. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team being flexible, resourceful and persistent when faced with challenges
. Proficient with MS office, Word, Excel, Power point
