Job Description:
Successful candidate is well-organized, highly-detailed and able to work with minimal supervision in a 2-3 person, fast-paced, office environment. Under the direction of the president, and/or senior leadership, performs the following tasks:
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, particularly written grammar, spelling, punctuation and polished vernacular are minimum requirements.
• Maintain the executive calendar; Communicate schedules, event calendar plans, changes and information to internal staff
• Provide accurate and timely management of messages, their scope and urgency
• Execute verbal and written directives to deliver timely results
• Perform basic accounting functions under the direction of a full-charge bookkeeper and CPA.
• Assist with bid process, AIA contracts, billing, and lien waivers
• Use defined naming conventions to maintain virtual filing system in Windows Explorer
• Register and maintain company profile in various customer, vendor, and certification databases
• Facilitate the recruiting and hiring process by screening candidates, with minimal direction from management
• Keep website, SharePoint, social media, and marketing collateral updated

The position's responsibilities may be adjusted based on the skills of a candidate and other team members.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or minimum of:
? Three (3) to six (6) years of professional experience in office administration and contract administration
? Two (2) to five (5) years accounting experience
• Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and basic office skills proficiency tests
• Must have reliable transportation for regular office errands

Desired Qualifications:
• Candidates with construction related experience will be given the highest consideration
• Advanced Microsoft Office user with emphasis on Intermediate Excel
• QuickBooks Contractor Edition, preferred (other major accounting packages considered)
• Must be able to obtain Texas Notary certification
